Abstract

By entering the third millennium, the purpose of education has changed from teaching to learning, in a way that is based on the theory of connectivism of this student who builds all or part of his knowledge. Based on this, the purpose of the current research, which was conducted in the way of reviewing a narrative; The design of learning content in the Arabic language course was based on the principles of connectivism. Today, content and standards produced based on traditional views such as behaviorism are no longer effective for the third millennium. Rather, a person should manage available knowledge through features such as diversifying learning experiences, being up-to-date, and connecting to emerging knowledge networks in order to be able to learn the special standards of the digital age. Paying attention to diversity in content production, identifying resources, nodes and human and non-human networks related to learning, modernity and lifelong learning, connected knowledge and networked learning, the facilitating role of the teacher and the inclusive dynamic nature are among the things that are emphasized in the design of the Arabic language learning unit based on the theory of connectivism. It seems that using the principles and teachings of the connectivism perspective in designing the content of the Arabic language course can be a more suitable answer to the special standards required by learners in the third millennium. Therefore, the present study suggests the use of the teachings of connectivism in the production of Arabic language content at the secondary level.
