Abstract

Active teaching methods in Arabic language teaching are seen as a means of facilitating students' achievement of the necessary competencies for learning Arabic. The present study, relying on a qualitative research method, seeks to introduce active teaching methods in Arabic language teaching and its operationalization process. The data for this study was collected through the experiences of Arabic teachers, interviews, and analysis of documents related to the Arabic language. Based on the research results, active teaching methods in Arabic language teaching include three stages: planning the learning stages, planning the implementation stage, and evaluating the teacher. Therefore, the teaching emphasis on the process of learning the Arabic language includes students' activities and creativity in acquiring knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes while learning the Arabic language. In the evaluation phase, the teacher actively monitors students' behavioral changes and uses them as a criterion for planning and developing learning. The goal of this phase is to assess cognitive, emotional, psychological, and motor aspects so that teachers can use active Arabic teaching methods to maximize students' potential and improve their learning outcomes.
