Over the past two decades, self-efficacy has emerged as an important motivating factor in human behavior research. This factor plays an important role in improving and enhancing the academic performance of learners. The present study tries to investigate the relationship between this motivational factor with academic success by stating the dimensions and characteristics of self-efficacy in the field of education and to explain the role of professors in strengthening and increasing the self-efficacy of Arabic student-teachers. The research method is descriptive and information analysis is qualitative. Findings show that professors of Arabic by recognizing the behavioral-emotional characteristics of students and by applying cognitive and metacognitive strategies in interaction with them can have a great impact on creating positive perceptions within them., Such as Avoiding procrastination, The desire for academic engagement and motivation for progress, Critical thinking, Problem Solving, Self-regulatory and participatory learning; And increase students' enthusiasm and motivation for courses related to this field and help improve their academic performance.
