Abstract
This research is based on a comparative reading of two letters, one of which is book "Hay ibn Yaqzan", a small and important treatise in Arabic language and literature, containing the deep philosophical and educational ideas of Ibn Tufil Andalus in the 12th century AD and the other, Emile letter From Jean-Jacques Rousseau of France, written in the 18th century. This research is a brief comparison between these two treatises (one from the Islamic world and the other from the West world) that, in the form of story and imaginative characters, have explained the goals, principles and methods of education. Extracting educational implications, similarities and their views differences; in order to study of naturalistic attitude toward education, are the goals of this research; the position of teacher and mentor, rational, social, moral, and religious education in Ibn Tahif and Rousseau's thoughts will be the other goals of the research.
